Grow-A-Row

Tomorrow is the day for planting and I can't wait! We have several wonderful sponsors this year who I would like to introduce:

This is such a wonderful project and I am thrilled to be a part of it! For those of you who do not know what the Grow-A-Row promotion is, it is a sponsorship program where for a $200.00 donation we will plant a 20' row of potatoes in your or your company's name and will take care of it through the summer doing things such as planting, weeding, watering, pulling off those dreadful potato beetles, and then harvesting it in the Fall. When all of the potatoes are harvested they will be divided equally and disctributed to Moose Jaw's Food Bank as well as Riverside Mission. Last year over 400 lbs. of potatoes were harvested and this year I'm hoping for a bumper crop! It is going to be a wonderful season and THANK YOU to our wonderful sponsors who without their donation this project would not be possible!
